      ... by Venizelos. It was very interesting. All sorts of Cretan products on display.

      We then walked to the Church of the Virgin Mary. This is the main church of Chania. It is quite small in side but very pretty. After our visit to the church, Dennis and I walked back to the ship. We have walked at least 2 miles every day and sometimes as many as four.

      ... beautiful - the pictures couldn't even capture it. First, it is preserved in a National Park, which is so good because there are no big hotels or restaurants anywhere near it.  There are a few small cantinas, chairs set out for free use, a few spiggots for showers and a trailer with portable bathrooms.   The water is aqua blue, crystal clear, the sand light and fluffy, and there is a lagoon.  This makes it so you can walk to a small island by wading through water up ...

      ... she poured a mix of cold and hot water to rinse me.   Not only was it so relaxing and soothing, but it also was a really intimate experience.  I was fully exposed while a perfect stranger cleaned and pampered my whole body.  It was incredible and I highly recommend it to everyone to at least try once.       We took an overnight ferry from Athens to Chania, Crete. We were glad to take a room on the ferry, since the lounges were hot and crowded.
