    The Past Catches up!

    ... split as to its value in the community; a lot of the locals appeared to be challenged by the devotees apparent wealth. I couldn't help feeling there was alot of anger toward the ashram. And with my memories still fresh in my mind and heart I felt it was time to move on. I was there for three nights and didn't sleep well on any of them. I looked at where I wanted to go and booked an internal flight South to Kerala for the next day.

    ... but a little worse than Mexico. Finding wifi connections is not easy in budget hotels, at least a wifi that connects. The best bet is more western style cafes which are popular with westerners and middle class Indians alike. For some reason I could not connect with my iPad but managed to do so with my antiquated small Acer laptop which I brought along solely for writing. It's remarkable how lost I felt when I couldn't connect with the Internet ... what a crutch ...

    I am writing today's entry with great difficulty owing to the fact I can't remember it too clearly.

    Pranav gave us a shout at 1000 for breakfast. Omelettes, bread and curry pasties.

    We went for a drive around Pune and to see Pranav's new house that was still under construction. Like his current house it was in a gated community however this was more rural, sited on hills overlooking the city. The house itself was quite large ...

    ... As I was taking for photos to compile a recipe for future reference, I had my camera out, and so took some snaps of the morning routine that Jijoy, Ria and Karma wouldn't ordinarily document.

    Karma was being his characteristic cheeky self, leaving a trail of mess behind him. To distract, I showed him how to use the camera.
