    ... thousands of them and very pretty ones at that. Lyn and I, thanks to the practice in the West last year were quite adept and Emma seemed to take to it like a fish to water (excuse the pun) but Scott struggled a bit with his mask which annoyed him a little.

    Despite this we swam for a good three quarters of an hour, taking some
    video and some underwater pics until we all were tired enough to paddle
    back to the boat, happy that we'd got our moneys worth. ...

    ... at a great coffee house called Black Canyon Coffee and then after lunch right over Kuta beach called Segara which was really nice.

    We were just high enough off the beach to not see all the trash all along the world famous Kuta beach. We walked down to the beach after to take the photo below.

    The rainy season "now" unfortunately brings alot of trash ashore from the rains filling the rivers and streams ...

    ... Kuta beach, but swimming or suntanning in Kuta was far from our minds. Instead we opted to tour ourselves along the city streets. We found the famous Poppies Gang 1 and 2. 'Gang' is an alley or side street in Bali. The Kuta we experienced was a mix of high end shops catering to tourists with money burning a hole in their pockets, and small stalls packed along the 'gangs' selling cheap clothes, wood carvings, sarongs, or offering cheap massages.     ... I could teach her. So she called me the day after demanding that she needs me when I come back and that I please save her number. Also the two daughets of Ilu (Bauke's wife) have asked me to come back. I kind of already promised.... And I do miss it.
