We were just here for a few hours before our plane left. Very convenient if you ar ein route and especially if your have an early flight out of Viru Viru. Could be a fun hotel, nice lobby, restaurant and pool.

... we could show to the traders. The first guy we showed this picture said, "Oh no you won't get that here [referring to the Mercado Ramada], try Tenchi near Plaza 24 Septembre." Claim disproved.
Not giving up, we switched our focus to electronics. I decided I needed an mp3 player to replace my stolen phone and I bought one of the few available, for less than twenty squid, (although I later found the same model on the internet for 12 so Bolivia is not quite ...

The Bolivian Amazon, also known as the Beni region, is an area in the north east of the country similar in size to the whole of Great Britain. An area of rainforest, jungle and huge stretches of savannah, it is watered by Andean rivers and streams, which become swollen in the rainy season, often resulting in widespread flooding. Exceptionally heavy rain in the Cochabamba region, this year, has caused widespread devastation in Beni. The 19-seater propeller airplane, preparing to ...

... arrived yesterday for a six-month trip that will include two months of teaching English in Bolivia.

Returned to my hotel room at 8:50, then popped next door for some ice cream. Online until 10:24. Used the bizarre shower contraption and packed, my day in Santa Cruz complete.

My taxi departed at 11:05 and pulled up to the airport terminal 23 minutes later. The fare was Bs. 60 ($8.68).

This completes my Bolivia travel blog. Thanks for reading!

... and we are missing a major difference somewhere... I have attached some photos from the net to try demonstrate. I didn't feel comfortable taking their pictures without asking and hey we know how my Spanish is going! I also have to mention the babies here are amazingly cute. All seem to be born with a little black wig. We caught an overnight train from Quijarro to Santa Cruz. This train was the oddest thing I have ever seen. It consisted of only two carriages ...

... he's trying to get young girls (blurgh) so ran away from him but everyone else was really cool and friendly. So my last day in Bolivia I realised that I lost my debit card so this morning I had to call my bank to sort that out. I've decided I'm leaving natwest when I get back home! Luckily I've got other cards. But today I'm just taking it easy chilling in a hammock before my 24hour, maybe even 30 hour bus journey to Paraguay! So overall Bolivia as Alex put it the other day as a joke...it's been ...
