... It started off a few years ago only for birds, but has expanded to monkeys and other animals. I arrived at 11 but the next English tour wasn't for another hour. So I thought I would be sneaky and walk to the nearest hotel, sit by their pool and use their free WiFi while I waited. That worked out well, then I went back to start the jungle adventure. At the park they breed animals, rehabilitate injured ones and rescue 'pets' from poachers or families ...

With an 18 hour bus ride to Iguazu, we have plenty of time to reflect on our eventful stay in Buenos Aires. The mugging aside, we had a fantastic time in the city and received some of the warmest hospitality of the trip thus far. Unfortunately, probably the main thing that we will remember is being robbed blind in broad daylight. At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask. We make a pact to move on without forgetting the security measures in future as it's not an experience ...

Got to hostel, had a quick shower and headed out. A lovely hot day again. Much welcomed by us after a rainy week in Curitiba. We're going to miss the sun so much when we're home.

Bus packed and we're on our way. We stop at the trail and take our first glimpse of the falls. It looks great. I stop and take a few pictures while Hannah is trying to escape one of the little animals hunting the park for food. Little bugger clawed our bag open.
