... past the port, and within thirty minutes, we were back at Bambú Hostel, killing time, snacking, and saying goodbyes to the friends we had made there. After realizing I had lost our bus tickets, panicking, and then calling the company to find out luckily that with our passports, we would be reissued new ones, we could again relax.

We were greeted to an up close and personal view of the falls in the form of a walkway that extends a few hundred metres, right up to where the falls drop. The views were incredible. I was lucky that I had brought my waterproof dry bag that I could put my camera and passport into. I am pretty happy I brought my water proof camera along! Getting splashed was my favourite part of the day!

... they were killing me, so mostly I had eyes covered and protected from the pounding water and wind spray. This all happened in Brazil on the border. The national park of Iguassu is shared with Argentina so this morning we packed up from hotel and crossed border into Argentina to view the falls from the other side. ... and all! The falls are literally incredible, with lots of small waterfalls all around the then the huge horseshoes in the centre which were unbelievably loud. We were absolutely amazed by them and spent hours walking along to different view points and taking hundreds of very samey photos so we couldn't miss anything - it was definitely worth the journey! We got a bus after across the Argentina border to stay in Puerto Iguazu ready to visit the Argentinian side of the falls ...

... Waterfalls Hostel'. We certainly had expectations of what the falls would be like, but none of us expected it to be anything like it was. I simply don't have enough synonyms to describe how unbelievable it is. The sheer power and size of the falls are so overwhelming you don't really know where to look.
