Candolim - all good things come to an end We all survived the train and a bit bleary eyed we entered the state of Goa and the beach town of Candolim for our last tour location. What a shame the last location was here! My opinion of Candolim is that it is a pretty tacky, touristy location and I would not recommend it. If I had booked a week here I would have been mortified! Still it was fine for a night and to relax and say ...

Doing my math, if the games starts at 630pm it should be starting now...what the heck is he talking about? It was like the beginning, the beginning of Apocalypse Now. I awoke like Captain Willard, staring at the rotating fan. In the film, Willard gets up and opens the curtains and looks at the street scene below and says..."Saigon, ****, still in saigon.."...I do a similar thing and look out of our window at a scene not too dissimilar..and I say "Goa, ****, still in Goa"... we've been here now for seven days and have been cursed by ...

... and motorbikes enjoy taking over buses at the same time, even if the road is only a single track. We eventually chose a restaurant (chinese if you were wondering) and browsing through the menu we heard another massive crash, even bigger this time. 2 motorbikes had collided right outside the place. One man jumped up whilst another man lay on the floor. Indians love a good show. Within 30 seconds ...
