... br> You go to a hundred car shows and you will never be able to see the amount of cars they have here… (1400) it’s beside the point that they are also all for sale. You find them inside the halls, rows full in the tents: we did not see hundreds of amazing cars, we saw thousands of them. Good thing we had a whole week pass.

What we like:

  • The real old cars like the old 1929 Duisenberg, Rolls Royce and Mercedes

... talk about Red was ‘interesting’ and I have a different insight into him now. Phil’s estimate of him was right on! We finally decided to quit talking for the night and get some sleep. Sunday we spent time with Carolyn’s Aunt Nancy and Uncle Ron. Carolyn last visited ten years ago and they seem to have aged little. Must be the clean New Mexico air.

Carolyn took Ray and Cash on a tour of her old haunts from her high school days. As might be expected with the passing of more than 40 years, a lot has changed. What was once desert and dirt tracks is now strip malls and six lanes of traffic. The simpler life has been paved over.
