... I got over being wet and the antics of the water festival participants and decided it was time to go back to the room. Hmmm trying to explain to the motor bike taxi dude the name of my hotel room was painful. I ended up using his phone on google and showing him that way (Yes I usually carry the card of the hotel in my pocket – as I did this time – but it got wet and was a heap of mush). So did the google maps things – ...

It's nice that someone really appreciates a tip as opposed to the cab drivers who rip you off and demand a tip. I think we have ...

... listening to the boys’ stories about pulling girls all the time. Head out and randomly join a group of Israelis – two on their honeymoon! - who teach us some Hebrew and Russian. Have a wicked night dancing loads, meet tons of people, generally jump around a lot and take lots of amusing photos. God knows what time we get in.

30th Oct: Feeling pretty tender, spend the day trying to recover in time for the party. Make a ********** attempt to find ...

Long Neck Karen and other tales

Life continues at a steady pace, almost reverse, in Luton Town Village, Pattaya…

On Thursday we took the scooter out the 20 or so kilometres to Silverlake, a beautiful lake (duh, not silver though), around which a very Tuscan/Mediterranean looking resort is being constructed. We had travelled out to Silverlake partially on a random exploring tip and partially with the hope of seeing “Long Neck Karen”, a lady’s whose name is ...
