Up and out to hire bikes, dad and Ross got one each and uncle Terry drove the queenies in the 4x4 truck which was just a piece of junk on wheels with hardly any gears, and a broken handbrake; so funny seeing them jugging along sat in the back raised up in open top whilst their chauffeur tried to manoeuvre the heep of junk. I feel safe and able to go up to anyone and practice thai or ask for something ...

Instead the buying of this drink offered lonely men the opportunity for a member of staff to hang around, take a couple of sips, laugh at their jokes and then wander off, coming back again if another expensive lady drink was purchased. An amusing, but slightly depressing place then. A couple of days was more than enough to be honest. ...

... I did see one teacher singing and dancing with them which made me feel a little better. On Tuesday we did conversational English with some older students. We didn't have a clue what we were supposed to do or even where we were supposed to go, but hey this is Thailand! They knew very basic English, but we did find out that they liked Justin Bieber and I happened to have a song on my Ipod which they enjoyed listening too! (I'm trying ...
