      ... the next day we spent very close to the hotel and the AC.
      We are now in Pattaya which is a major beach resort 2 hours south of Bangkok and have 4 days to kick back and relax, 2 nights in Bangkok and then it is back to Canada. The storms are pretty spectacular too - we watched one slowly moving towards us a couple of nights ago, finally arriving with some of the loudest thunder and it stayed that way for over an hour. Definitely not one I could sleep through! As I sit here writing this, I can see lightning sparking erratically in the distance.
