    ... me appreciate how great my home is. Perhaps things will look better when we can see the ocean. Ooo - we are going through a tunnel. It's a bit dark! Jesse said we'd be going past an airforce base where they shoot rockets. He said we won't see it but we'll lose phone service when we go past. After all the time it took to get our global sim working, I think we'll turn off our phone just to be safe. I have to say I'm loving my Virgin velocity travel ...

    ... what a wiseman told me "if in doubt power out" came in very handy when the first street we went arrived at was a 12 lane super highway!!!!! Up the road 150 miles and we arrive at Santa Barbara and there's no room at the local RV park luckly however the tourist info dude recommended a little park bout 15 miles inland called Lake Cachuma which was lovely, see photos Dinner bed bit ...

    ... Vegas and Paul manages to navigate the traffic and the directions and we make it to our accommodation without any hiccups (this is quite unusual for us). When we get out of the car and get our first blast of the Nevada air, it's like stepping into an oven. The temperature is around 43 degrees today!     Picked up car, drove to Santa Barbara, lunch and a bit of shopping. Onto Circle B Ranch, swim and games.....ready for cowboy day Day 2 Circle B 4 hours ride in the morning, all a bit sore.
