Jumping back on the trolley bus we went to do some wine tasting at a local vineyard's tasting house. Needless to say we came away with a bottle of C******nay and a Pinot Noir. The C******nay will be consumed this evening on the porch at the Hotel and we will keep the Pinot Noir for Hawaii.

A thoroughly enjoyable, chilled out day in Santa Barbara. Back to Los Angeles tomorrow where we will try to see a bit more of Hollywood etc.

Probably spent two hours there, but could have easily spent twice that. Then, back to the 101 in Friday afternoon traffic to Debbie and Mousa's home in Encino. Debbie cooked, we talked, and throughly enjoyed the ...

... a mere two days ago, I hoped with all I had that I would be able to attend. The universe blessed me and I giggled with delight when I spoke to Kelly just twenty-four hours prior. She squeezed me in (again another bonus for being a single traveller) and I'm grateful.

Jessica Julin, the soprano understudy for Opera Santa Barbara, performed at Salt. She sang a few aria's from Tosca and a few other favourites. Her voice filled ...
