... sort of trip, but good fun seeing new species of marine life, however still no turtles or sharks, which we want to see the most! We are taken South in a loop around a few islands including Maya bay, shark island, monkey beach and bamboo island. Back in time for a Thai red curry and to watch the most incredible fire show I've ever seen and probably will see, with guys throwing and ...

... So said the "blurbs" .....but on the bus ride in and the brief walk I've done before finding this McDonald's ....this looks like one of those poorer Polynesian islands ...but very unkempt ( read trash everywhere ) and chock a block with small vendors and taxi hustlers. Found an amazing restaurant - it's much cheaper & nicer than last night too :) looking out to sea whilst having dinner - can see all the green lights on the horizon - squid fishing, apparently squids like green ...

... I just wanted to get to the hotel. I got on it with all of my bags awkwardly not knowing where to hold onto this fat Thai man! I went for the shoulders as I wouldn't have got my arms around his belly! He didn't seem to know where he was going even before I got on the ped, he made it the majority of the way but then got lost and asked some locals. I gave them the phone number of the hotel and they rung them for me and located it around the corner which was nice of them!
