We rolled into Destin after several acquaintances advised us to do so...and we were so happy we did! This sweet town has won us over and we plan to return for a lenghtened visit. Literally the white sand reaches out virgin-like, no rocks,stones or shells to navigate, just walking on powder into the turquoise blue, chest deep. We got out of Alabama this morning and head eastward. I got a few more morning shots of the campground before we departed. There was a huge wreak on I-10 in our view from the camp, with traffic stopped for over two hours, but in checking later, there were, miraculously, no injuries.
