After a morning snorkelling in the Red Sea we originally set off after a truck lunch for a four hour run to Luxor. This unfortunately turned into seven hours as we had to double back after a police checkpoint refused to allow us passage. Taking the long way round we got ...

Today is our last day in Egypt and we will spend most of it in transit catching the local airline from Hurghada to Cairo and then Another flight from Cairo to Amman, Jordan. The journey started with a 9:00 am taxi ride to the Hurghada airport and will finish with an early evening check in to our hotel just south of Amman in neighbouring country Jordan. We have really enjoyed Egypt and especially the warm welcome that the ...
