... the snow on them, made for a really picture postcard effect. One of Antalya's claims to fame is that you can swim and ski within an hour of each other - that's how close the mountains are. Today we stopped at one of the restaurants in the marina, bought ourselves our rapidly-becoming favourite drink (Efes Beer) and sat and watched the world go by. The temperature was 20C according to a thermometer we saw down ...

We left the hotel this morning to head to the white terraces of Pamukkale. By the way, I won the battle with the hotel - yes, one up for the tourist! ... Reluctantly we decided to eat in and that's a "fatal mistake" we ve made. Simon s risotto seafood is like a rice pudding with reconstituted seafood. He said he has never have to send back the food in his life. I guess we should have ordered n stuck to Turkish food. Tomorrow is another long, long journey to the "fairy chimney" region. I m ...

... 305;ke ın the dark, we spotted them-- ıt looked lıke 20 small campfıres scattered throughout the area. Nobody knows exactly why the flames are there, but they cannot be put out. There are legends about the cause, dealıng wıth a fıre breathıng monster that was banned to the underworld but stıll breathes the fıre out!
