We are safely through the Suez Canal and into the Red Sea.we went straight through in a convoy of ships. There were gun emplacements everywhere but everything was quiet and the sunset amazing. We played bridge all afternoon watching out the windows when we were dummy. Today we are stopped at Hurghada on the Red Sea. The tour headed for a local village, which was an extended 30 minutes from our base. The village can only be reached via quad bikes, motorcycles and animals. Their is no road leading to ...

... we spent the whole day sun-bathing at Zeytuna beach which is only 15 minutes walk or free shuttle bus from the hotel. It is an amazing beach with soft sand and crystal waters knee deep out for 500 meters or more. Though the temperature is too cold to swim, the walk around the beach area is fantastic.

You could travel around the town by tuk tuk which costs only 5LE/trip. During the night, we could ...
