There is a 4km beach walk along the sand in Sanur. We went for several walks along the path during our stay. The beach was on one side and hotels, restaurants, and bars were on the other. Some of the hotels were huge ...

... 30am so we all got an early (ish) night. Alarm went off at 1.45 and we got picked up at 2.30 - considering we had only had 4 hours sleep in the last two night we were actually very chirpy!! We drove to the bottom of the volcano which was about an hour and a half away where we were given black tea and a fried banana which was horrible, and then we started our trek!! It was pitch black and all we had was a torch to see our way, it was really difficult climbing up the lava ...
