        ... just as busy at the intersection, the shrine had been fully restored and most importantly was full of people- praying and visiting. the only indication anything had happened was a sign with condolences and quite a few police/security surrounding the area. I took a moment to think about those who were affected and I enjoyed the beauty of shrine- one of the most stunning I have seen.

        Organised my rabbit card and other trains tickets. Shops don't open till 10 so that leaves time to walk around, takes trains and look at things. Finding my way around - really nice new shops just near me. Its the weekend so it very busy.

        ... livelier place, so I would have been able to hang out there until late. As a solo traveler, I don't like to drink much if I am alone and far from the place I am staying in. So, the only way to get there was by taxi, and I was told by the hostel that the fare should be around 120 baht. The taxi drivers were refusing to come by the meter, and asking for 300 baht instead.
