    Gwagwa left today. I wish I could say that it was no big deal, but that would be a lie. Being left alone in a foreign, non English speaking country, is SCARY!!     ... and freshly baked pretzels were my favorites; however, the Black Forest Cake and other desserts were heavenly! We shared a candlelit table with a couple from Indianapolis and Denny, especially, enjoyed communicating in English. Our bed was turned down with chocolates left on the pillows. Time for more rest!!!     ... extra special although neither David nor I ate the lobster. We did enjoy the Baked Alaska! From there we went to the evening entertainment which was a man and woman acrobat who were exceptionally strong and flexible. The man had a tremendous voice as well and sang during much of the performance. However, it was also extremely suggestive which made it not quite as enjoyable to me. After the performance, I picked up my new gold necklace.

    The announcement came at 2:30 while we were at sea, steaming in the direction of Cuba's far west coast. Captain Antonio Sammartano began, "Greetings from the bridge.     ... our bags and marched straight down to the beach. Although the sea was pretty warm, it was at least a bit refreshing!

    The beach would have been beautiful if it weren't for the collection of all inclusive hotels and resorts lined along. We found a small patch of shade and were moved along because it was a 'private' beach for that particular hotel. Pah!
