... We saw what we think are “Caiman crocodilus (spectacled caiman)” right in front of our campsite! There was a little territorial display to top off their performance and I was able to photograph a little of it. We had some heated discussion about whether this is a caiman or alligator or crocodile. We visited a protected site a few days later in La Mazinilla.
