    He taught us 2 tricks for enjoying tequila: First, serve it is a champagne flute or wine glass with a more closed mouth for more nose. Second, swish the first sip around your mouth to kill the bacteria from any food you may have had recently; the next sip will be much smoother. True!

    Tequila tasting may be my new hobby.

    This morning, eight Elliotts boarded the San Miguel trolley tour (El Pipila) for a two hour ride around San Miguel historic sites. It was a first for all of us. And we were sure to get the bilingual tour! (Andrew and Beth are both fluent in Spanish and would have been fine with just the Spanish tour, but not the rest of us.) Thomas, Ben and Joe all sat together, drinking juice, and laughing the entire ride.

    Wandering through the plazas and passing churches there was a lot of activity and we noted a number of weddings taking place. One young bride was kind enough to pose for a photo in her beautiful red dress. It appears that here the brides wear red not white and I do not know if that is just this year's fashion or a Mexican tradition, I suspect the former.
