... a mechanical delay. Fortunately, we had given ourselves a nice, cushy, 3 hour layover in ATL, so there was no problem making our Amsterdam connection. I still need to get used to the traffic here. And the absence of roundabouts. There are so many intersections in my neighbourhood that should really be converted to "traffic circles." Now, the bank official who had secured the balance paid $2,600 usd to the Bank of Ghana and now is requesting that I send another $2,400 usd to complete the payment of $5,000 usd to the Bank of Ghana. So, although I originally was very happy with Ghana and had planned to visit some day soon, I now feel like I have been mugged by Ghana and no longer have any desire to visit that country.
