... it we came across a Toll way and we didn't know which lane to go in. I found it very confusing, to we headed for one on the far right with a booth which we thought was manned. Wrong. Turned out to be easy thought as it was a cash notes and card lane so in went the note and off we went, proffered change scattered on the floor, back into battle.  Before we knew it the exit for Cannes was upon us - our chosen stop for Lunch. ... find has been beyond our fondest dreams. What we've learned from "living abroad" for a month - Cars are an aggravating luxury. There are some big expensive cars here. But for the most part, everyone drives very small cars that will fit in the VERY small parking places. Gas costs twice as much, but cars generally get twice as much mpg. Motor bikes predominate, both in number and noise. You will see women in heels tooling around on them. They ...

... French Resteraunt, I had true French Escargot in Burgundy sauce (it tasted good enough to lead a man to drink), then for mains I had Canard which was so fine & tender, I could have been eating Donald himself. Renée rocked some Ox salad for starters & this creamy chicken escallop main. We went home for a good nights sleep for tomorrow we travel onwards to Barcelona, Spain (11hour transit) ...
