You could watch these people for hours. Once they set their sights on someone they hone is and turn on the charm. I even had one grab me by the arm to stop me from walking away from her. So glad our lovely American friends warned us of these tough nutts(when I say tough nutts they were all 13 – 14 year old ...

It was late afternoon but we had things to do and people to see so we dropped all our gear off and left straight away.

Danita had to collect her luggage she placed in a storage depot while she popped over to the UK so we walked a short distance to the nearest Metro Stop.
A book of 10 tickets costs €13.70 and each time any of us enters the Metro we use a ticket hence we go through them pretty fast. Keeping in mind we walk for miles in between.

It certainly is going to be a shock to the system when we just cant walk out the door and get someone to cook my dinner!!

... stood in 1836 to commemorate the thousands of people killed in the revolution.

We turned north on Rue Royale, and walked two blocks up to Luderee, a cookie shop that sells macarons, a confection with two meringue type cookies with a flavored ganache in between. They are small little bites of heaven. We got about a dozen so we could try as many flavors as possible. The mint flavor tasted like biting directly into a spearmint leaf. The rose flavor was ...
