    ... homemade beer which they was selling to us in the bar .
    I acedently ordered the table the wrong drinks .... we ended up with a METRE or largr on the table in stead on a litre .
    next I then ordered a 5 litre TOWER of beer which was delivered to the table and stood approx. ,, 5 foot above the table ..
    what an amzing night .

    That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp!     ... the walk was a good time to go to sleep so we took in turns to carry the equivelant of a sack if potatoes around the crowd. The market was brilliant but over whelming, our own fault for not taking a rest. Still we have plenty more to see and a better idea of what to expect.     ... airport where Eli spent the next half an hour or so trying to put the theft and damage to the car through as a simple theft waiver rather than damage. The car was damaged because of the theft - not because of our negligence. But the supervisor wasn't there so the only thing the guy could do was say that we could discuss it over email with the supervisor. Great.

    The D-Day had finally arrived, but I was still inf office wrapping up my work... today happens to be the last working day of the year as well, hence pressure to close out any pending tasks.

    Finally managed to wrap up my work at office by 4pm and was back at home by 5 pm. We had booked the night train to Venice, the reasons were 2 fold, one it was way too expensive by air for all 3 of us and secondly, the flight timings were not really convenient, we would lose out one full day due ...
