... I think I was definitely spoiled by all the great food in Germany.

Simon and his family were actually heading towards where I needed to go the next day for my flight, so they were nice enough to drop me off at the airport. I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Germany, it was such a fantastic time, I learned so much, and had such a perfect stay!

I had three more days to go before my flight back to the U.S., and I finished off where it all started, Madrid, Spain.

Held up and running late into Berlin we had arranged with the owner of an apartment to call or text if running late as she would meet us to give ...

... We hung around for a little while in our room, and then walked to a fine beer garden/restaurant in the Old Town where we had large quantities of German food, including Hirsch (venison) goulash (Rebecca) and sauerbraten (me). Mary took Ben out to be introduced to her friends and German beer (being 18, he can drink it legally), and Rebecca and I waddled back to the hotel and gave it up to jet lag shortly afterwards. Ben ...

... better flight. Arrived at Frankfurt at 8pm and got out of customs easily. The brothers welcomed us at the gate and one walked us to our hotel, the Sheraton. Checked in, met heaps of brothers and sisters, and went to our room. We were upgraded to a better room because they had run out of the delegate rooms. Nice room, very quiet and ...
