... camping area where there were at least 100 motorhomes, 5th wheels, and trailers set up. It was fun to see how many of them made their homes look permanent with rock lined driveways and rock gardens. Many of these campers stay here for the winter months (4-5 months). ... 10 grands, plus 9 kids including the spouses, friends, siblings and nieces and nephews, the gifts are many. Bruce has banned the purchase of anything for the next two weeks. Who knows, maybe, I will see the wisdom of the idea.

... Solana beach but was sadly booked out. I hope to stay there another time but we continued further north to stay at Oceanside RV park. It wasn't as nice as Solana beach but we made do and stayed for two nights. We went for a couple of walks/runs down to a long boardwalk pier. Callan and Brooke stayed the second night also which was good to see them. Our cars muffler clips had broken and was scratching on the road so we got that fixed at a place next to the RV park.
