We drove up to Leucate and then to La Franqui to see what the coast was like and where the campsite was located. La Franqui is a lovely, small resort without the excesses of larger places. Another hot and sunny day. We left the 'car park' to move further up the coast. The landscape changes to a more tropical feel. Palm trees and flat countryside is the new scenery. We have decided to go to an aire at Latour-bas-Elne. It is a fabulous aire. It's situated behind a camping-car and accessory dealers. The pitch we were given had an incredible view of the lake and we were certainly sad to leave, but is was a good way to mark the end of the camping, and the beginning of the end of our journey. Next up, ...
