... amp; colder. Finally reached the peak and it wasn't too cold. Went to the highest glacier palace in the world where there were pretty ice sculptures. But the most fun thing we did that day was definitely snow tubing at the peak. Basically we sit in this float/plastic thing and the guy spins out down a slope. No pics, only videos which I'm having trouble syncing ...

... may be a good panoramic photo spot (see result attached). Saw one other guy hiking around the same spot. Said hello and asked him where he is from. He says, Colorado. What! First person we have met from CO so far. Where in CO, we ask. He says, Montrose. No kidding. He is an artist there and has come to paint the Matterhorn. So Gornergrat ... what a great view from the top and surprisingly not too cold. Didn't even need our beanies and gloves, and for once Jeff remained buff free so we could see more of his face than just his eyes!
