... still not a cloud to be seen. Did have a minute to do a quick spot of shopping ...**** shops shut 12-2 ..great so grab this amazing kaftan I needed it but couldn't resist ...never seen one like it. Switzerland the home of army knives, cuckoo clocks, watches, chocolate , Swiss alps, giant pretzels, and all those weird sausages !! Hehe ... Time for a peppermint tea and on my next leg of my train adventure ...

... tonight "Fondue dinner experience" - walked from the hotel up the road to our restaurant, first course was a melted cheese, this was quite salty, second course was veal & beef, with chips or rice and a heap of condiments, this lead to the third course and this was chocolate with fresh fruit pieces, lovely.

Back to the hotel and an early night, it's bugger when you can lie in your bed and gaze up at the Matterhorn

Stopped at Tasch and got onto shuttle bus's and further up the hill then onto electric buses for our drive up to our hotel

Zermatt a population of 5,800 situated 1,620 mtrs above sea level, this is mountaineering and ski area.
