I'll probably edit this later - I suspect if your subscribed it will notify you. The motor show is 18 exhibit halls in a brisk pace I've covered 9 of them. I found the major name plates I wanted to find. Taxi ride was about 4 USD, show admission was about 9. I'll probably pull this whole thing off for less than 30. Huge lots of people, and a beautiful walk through "century city". I will be reading up on the area, nice apartment towers and boardwalk ...

... very humid. The winters can be cold but with little snow. Many homes do not have central heating. Sichuan Province is famous for it's hot spicy food. Apparently the spice helps the locals deal with the cold in winter and the arthritis that goes with cold and humid. The population in Chengdu is 14 million. Not unlike Beijing and Xian, Chegdu's skyline is dotted with construction cranes. The airports in the three cities are much larger than required. The entire ...

... a nice place to stand. But then I felt a gentle tug on my dress, and it was a lady who was standing up and motioning that I should take her seat. I wasn't quite sure what to do, would it be rude for me to decline? And so I tried replying that I don't need (Wǒ b xūyo) and she looked at me somewhat perplexed and I moved away slightly, and after looking at me for some time she sat down again in her seat. It was odd not to say the least.

This is our first stop on this trip, we only had one evening here, so we took a quick glance at the famous Kuan Zhai Alley, then went back to the hotel, rested well for next day's long journey to Huanglong and Jiuzhai.

... it for us on our video. Our efforts were well received by the locals who like when you participate, and when our first dance was finished we were literally dragged back on to the "floor". We had to make a run for it after a while, or we would have been there for the rest of the afternoon.
