After a good few hours enjoying the Pandas we headed back into Chengdu, really craving some British Food, we stopped off at the Shamrock on the way back and I got a Shepherd’s Pie, it was delicious. Now I’ve been travelling a while I find I really miss English food, like Pies, Cheesy Chips, Real Milk among many other things, you just can’t get it out here so you find you can’t satisfy those cravings.

BOOM, BA-BANG BOOM for 10 minutes. in chinese "firework" is yan hua, which ...

The Buddha is massive! Carved into the side of the mountain, it was originally constructed to watch over the nearby river meander where boats kept sinking in the dangerous currents. After being carved boats stopped ...

... and scorpions all on sticks). As we walked along, we bought some fried dough on a stick (oooh, baby), some kind of Chinese chorizo (smoked dried pork sausage, from a place selling chinese bacon and smoked tofu) and keepsakes for my necklace (I'm buying one small something from each place we visit to put on a necklace I'm remind me of where we were). The big complex we were making our way towards turned out to be the Wenshu Temple. It ...
