Here's a snapshot of the first four days of our roadtrip:
- fantastic local speciality dishes at a roadside night restaurant in Si Hui
- exploring the town of Xing Ping on foot - the location of the landscape that appears on the 20 Yuan note
- late night street stalls in Qing Yan and awaking to the sound of the stream rushing past our window

... br> with only a few days left, i will be truly sad to leave this incredible city. i feel as if i have settled into a new way of life here. i no longer drop my food with my chopsticks. the cloudy weather doesn't affect me. the humidity isn't too bad. i no longer dislike eating white rice for two of three meals of the day. but more than anything, i understand how a whole new society lives everyday.
