We have also been surprised at the level of take-a-way food you can buy at supermarkets, while not frozen, there are many microwave meals available, as well as sushi and rice dishes. On a lighter note, this is Hagi a town filled with pottery and orange groves. A place to sooth the soul with beauty. Bizarrely there was a gigantic modern building dedicated to ceramics in this quiet little island town. Incredible professional pottery in the museum and shops overflowing with more pots.
