It was really sad leaving Israel. The flight back to Heathrow was about 4 hours by Jumbo then we bussed it back to Cambridge an hour late after I mixed up the bus tickets. We reached the flat in Cambridge around 1 am exhillerated but exhausted. What a brilliant two weeks!

It was very hard to leave Israel ...

I've finished work and moved out of London, all in the same 24 hours. Feeling slightly emotional, leaving work was harder than I anticipated, I wonder how they will get on on Monday morning without me...OK I hope. Moving out the flat came and went in a bit of a hungover blur- probably a good thing I think! Can't believe I no longer had a place down there to call my own, from now on my ...

... the Petronas Towers and in a popular tourist area. It was comfortable enough with a fantastic Malaysian breakfast which set me up for the day.
There was very little Tv coverage of the storms so at least where I am there are not problems. I shall stay in KL for a few days and then make my way to Thailand
FOOTNOTE I would recommend Air Asia which has an extensive network in the region. However do not dismiss Malaysian Airlines. ka i

A taxi then took us all to our bed and breakfast (no more hostels), where we checked in and then trekked to the college to see Shelby's room. (She and Grandma had checked her in while we were meeting the AHT guy.)
Shelby's dorm room has to be the nicest dorm room we have ever seen for a first-year (the term is "Fresher" over here) college student. Bed, sofa, sink ...

Meeting up with my fellow traveller
Sarah at the airport, got a call from her this morning, again she is
excited, yet not as much as I imagined. I am sure that it will sink
in later today.

ball-thrower. To him that is, almost, my sole reason for existence
(perhaps it is, perhaps everything else I do is a waste of time and
all I was put on earth to do is that, hmm). Normally I would I have

I play, but now I would love to have ...
We awoke to a beautiful day in Cambridge. I'm a foreigner to these parts, and all I can say is that the place blew me away. It was fantastic. I love student towns. On the whole they have cooler shops and bars, are more liberal, and have lots of women who I can stare at. I'll just list the things I loved about Cambridge:
People cycling everywhere; the endless park ...
... american (who for some reason was wearing two hats) didnt have a clue what was going on and just wandered off (he reeked of booze - at one deparate point i considered licking him). i was all for walking over and finding the other shuttle but the italian guy from the couple was stomping around being self important and insisting we all stay put. seeing as it seemed a better idea to all stick together we sat tight. after we'd sat and watched many other shuttles come and go and id ...
Bury St. Edmunds, United Kingdom netballliz... sad that we couldn't go swimming with them because Audrye and I really wanted to! Then we had a beautiful meal that the Grandparents made outside! After the meal, we went back over to Karen's house and hung out the one load and then put in another load. We played some Dutch Blitz, which Rebeka won! We took the loads off the line and took them back to the Grandparent's house and put them all around our room on hangers to dry then went to bed!
