    ... them to eat the dead skin. It does sound really yukky but it felt fine – little tickles and certainly our feet felt smoother afterwards. A further little walk, then lunch and then another walk. We are finding the vendors initially assertive but once it is clear that we don't wish to make a purchase they are actually really friendly – especially to Craig. It is a very MALE population but also secular with strong women.

    ... Finn. We stopped in a small town called Mugla which had zero tourism and made us very happy. We were spotted looking confused by two students and when we told them we were hungry they took us to their go-to lunch spot. We ate iskander, which is donër beef over bread with butter poured over it. It does come with a small salad though so it's not all unhealthy.     ... long in length, oval in shape and low in the walls and seating. There are 2 sets of town gates / walls.both roman and Hellenistic. The wide street still shows ruts in the stones made by wagons and features a water feature that flowed right down the middle of the street to help keep the area cooler.     ... one of the highlights of the tour - the best preserved Roman theatre in the world. It is bloody incredible. It dates from161 AD. Ataturk was instrumental in restoring it to its present state and it is now regularly used to stage Operas. It can seat 20,000 people - the acoustics are perfect and the opera festival is currently in full swing.
