... was at Half Moon Bay Wall, almost straight offshore from the beach we swim at most days. This dive would be a regular wall dive with more emphasis on marine life. As we descended, we almost landed on top of a turtle - what a great start to a dive. Shortly after moving over to the reef wall, a spotted eagle ray slowly and gracefully swam past us. A few more turtles and some great colourful coral made for an amazing dive - probably the best dive in Honduras so ...

... we saw a turtle, lobster, grouper and a stingray.

The boat dropped everyone back at the jetty and picked up a few others for the final dive of the day at The Wife. The dive took us along the reef wall and back on top passed the small wreck Grape Escape. The colours of the coral, hard and soft, were amazing, particularly with the background of the deep blue sea. David being without a camera was a bit frustrated that those with ...

You could rent from a dive shop for the same price but we didn't want to have the gear for 24h so we just paid the guy. The gear wasn't the best and looking back at it now we probably should have gone to a dive shop. We snorkelled off the beach as we were told it was ...

... cool little weird things! And that is the end! No more diving for this trip. Rather sad. Not sure when I will next be diving. Luckily the sun came out and it was a nice sunny walk back to the hotel to start drying all my kit! I also went out for a walk - I hadn't walked too far along the beach and the road. All much the same - cafés, souvenir shops, dive shops - and that's about it!! The small beach was quite pretty. And it really is fairly quiet here. I ...

... and Terry poured my wine into it (and some on to my head). It was fairly hilarious. Our laughing woke Marie up, so then we headed back down to the beach for dinner, there weren't a lot of very happening places, so we went to Beachers again, where we went last night, and they put a table out on the beach for us. While we were waiting for the table, a crab pinched my foot. Since he was so aggressive, we wished we could have caught him ...
