... more parrotfish (and some ‘stoplight parrotfish’), fairy bassletts, Christmas tree worms, cow fish, spiny lobster, queen triggerfish, and sand dollars (I almost took one until realizing they were alive)! At “Black Coral Wall”, we additionally saw black durgon, ocean trigger fish, and an adult mowray eel! Andrew, the leader for our group, pointed it out with his flashlight and, as the first one behind him, I startled/jumped (if you ...

As the boat cruised North to the dive site, a briefing of the site was given. It was all about rock formations, swim throughs and caverns. With nothing planned until the evening we slept until it got too hot in our room around 8:00 then got up and had breakfast. There was A/C in the room but we didn't use it so it forced us to get up and make a day of it. Breakfast was yoghurt, granola and mini bagels from our grocery run yesterday. We headed out and made the ...

... dive, we went off down to the Southern tip of the island. Past the pretty West Bay beach and along to the rocky southern end. It was a wall dive - with a wreck down below around 40m. Again it was so so so blue and pretty corals. But rather lacking in creatures! Annoyingly it was still raining when we finished. I hadn't had any breakfast, so went back to the Baleada cafe and had the same as yesterday - a flour tortilla with beans and cheese! These are a ...
