A nice place to stay , close to airport and our car rental company that we used. very friendly staffs as on arrival we were greeted by a helpful porter who was keen to take the weight ... We were shown to our room which was located on the second floor . Very comfortable room with everthing we need in the room.

    Convenient airport hotel

A comfortable and convenient hotel very close to the airport. We were provided with a free shuttle service which was great even though it was probably close enought to walk from the airport.

The family room was comfortable, with a double and two single beds in the room.

Recommended for late arrivals and early departures as it is so convenient.

After a long flight, this was a comfy and nice place to stay. Food was good, and the hotel wasn't to expensive. Only a 5min walk from the airport too. Recommended

The flight across the Tasman Sea from Sydney to Christchurch went without incident. Clearing customs took a bit due to the 1am local skeleton crew working. Airport info helped me call the Sudima Hotel who came by with a shuttle. I was in bed just after 2am local time, very happy to be sleeping in a bed rather than an airplane seat. I woke this …

There are many scars still visible from the disastrous earthquakes. In the CBD there are still damages building, lots and lots of vacant lots and many deserted buildings.

Their is an opportunity for people to build and live right in the CBD.

This morning we woke to a lovely warm, sunny day. Our plan was to visit the International Antarctic Centre where we were to experience storms and winds as if we were on an expedition!
We went for a ride on a Hagglund, a Swedish snow vehicle, used in the Antarctic. There were warnings about who wasn't to take part, pregnant women, anyone with …

Are you going to Strawberry Fare...

h a full day in Christchurch. We got up early and decided to start the day right. We had breakfast at this fabulous restaurant called Strawberry Fare (thanks for the tip Melissa!!) It was some of the best food I have ever had. Jym tried a "flat white" which is apparently a New Zealand thing. They have a strange coffee selection but I gotta say a...
