Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia theharrisons... I opted for the deep-freeze, but this also meant that I had to try and sleep through the noise the old aircon unit made, which I can only assume is what it sounds like to have several hundred cattle thundering around in a small space.

My booked flight back to Singapore isn't for another three nights, but screw that, I'm going back today. I've booked a coach ticket, the journey takes about 5 hours and cost about 15 pounds. Job done.
Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia markjames... market was the biggest culture shock so far. As you step in you feel like your senses are being attacked with loads of smells, sights and sounds, not all of which were pleasent. I didn't want to go down the live animal section through fear becoming a vegitarian and wanting to free all of the animals, but we did see cages full of live chickens and a rat did run right across my feet, and i was wearing flip flops!! We was a little worried about taking pictures ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia germainHey everyone, hope all is well. Got a new job in Thailand because I'm getting an M.Ed. in Principal and Administration Licensure online right now and my new school may subsidize some of the cost and is going to pay me substantially more...so I couldn't say no because graduate school is expensive. The downside is that Mon and I had to move to Bangkok, although we are about 15-20 miles outside of Bangkok so ...

Arguments about what food and drink it should be accompanied with have been bandied about for centuries. Also, it's one of the few fruits that's been known to kill. Often weighing up to three kilograms and protected by thick, inch long spikes which can easily draw blood, taking a blow from a durian dropping from the top of a 30 meter-tall tree ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia bruceandian... KL than go through it. What we hadn't banked on was the system of Expressways and highways that criss cross this part of Malaysia, the whole of KL (and it is HUGE) is one big Spaghetti Junction. We ended up on the Expressway (not allowed) except unlike the one we took a few days ago this one didn't have a dedicated lane for motorcycles. So, there we are effectively on the hard shoulder of the motorway zipping ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia 50odd... story, when we got back around 2. The older travelers are the ones I like speaking to most. Unless they're blonde, female, around 22 and from Scandinavia. The older ones are more traveled and have interesting stories to tell. And they tend to be the more active ones and doing "out there" things. So I sat and talked to him instead of doing a trek through the mud up the hills, in the rain and sweating my heart out in the forrest. Next day, so yesterday, got a bus back ...
