      ... along the queue for an hour, we could see other passengers onboard sitting on their balconies watching the rest of us poor saps. At least we had some nice folks to talk to and everybody was certainly in a good mood.

      We finally got on board and to our stateroom on the 11th floor and it was all worth it. Annette splurged and got us a mini-suite with a balcony positioned kind of aft-ish of midship.

      Weather is a broken record, cloudy with a threat of rain. About an 80% threat of rain this afternoon. So we made plans for the morning.

      It was a good day. Jim and I both thought the Cape Canaveral tours were better. The Johnson Space Center looked dated and old. And they had “sold” the center of the lobby to Ripley’s Believe It or Not with science related displays, but not space related. It was very curious. ...

      ... that plane but they had another but had to get it ready and pull it to the gate. Off the plane we go, back to the Club, where we hung for another hour.

      Finally made it on the plane, back in our comfy seats and off we went. 2 hours late, but at least it was a plane that worked. Had a nice dinner, glass of wine, watched Boyhood and cuddled up with our duvets for a nice few hours of sleep!

      ... I left Whistler yesterday. People are so eager to connect with others they sometimes forget what they are saying. But connecting with new people is always a fascinating opportunity.
