Only to be informed the plane will now have to be reweighed for balance after losing a sixty pound gal and what must be her massive amounts of luggage....bloody hell why don't you repaint the feckin airplane while your at it! Changes I made

Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

Am I getting too old for a dorm?

They didn't serve any food on the flight, even though we were in the air over the supper hour. You could purchase over-priced snacks and the beverages were complimentary but I was thankful I had grabbed a sandwich in Toronto. There was no room in the overhead bins so I had to relinquish my carry-on suitcase to be stowed in the baggage area....I was a ...

... and I found it really interesting and informative (Wed night class style presentation). The exhort was by a young brother on thankfulness. We went out for lunch with a couple of families - they don't do 'visitors roster' here. If someone turns up you just go to a local café/diner and eat together. The place we went had some really funny signs around the place eg - 'if our service isn't up to your standard, then drop your standard' and similar.
