A travel blog entry by rabiensaul on Oct 21, 2014

... Lands, and the first straight piece of road I had, I just floored it. About two minutes later we were lost. Well GPS lost, not lost because we knew we were somewhere in Memphis. Where the hell is Memphis I was hot and the temperature was hot. The weather has been stunning!! So I said lets put the top down. We pulled over and read the manual. A couple of clips and holding a button... We had our top down, and we were rolling. I guess convertibles look appealing ...

If not, this is still one more checkmark on my bucket ...

    ... back to the
1880s. It became the home of the Grand Ole Opry in 1943 and continued through 1974 when it moved to the new location. Just like yesterday, we got to go on the stage and have our picture taken. I think I liked this tour even better than the new Opry House.

... a big house on a ****** main road. Farewell to you, one horse Memphis town.

The everyday folk out in Nashville, Tennessee sound as if they jumped straight out of a country and western film clip. We attempted not to giggle at their accents. No other place in the world could a city get away with having their nightlife back to back with country music bars. The home of country, Nashville, sure can. Each bar down Broadway has live music with singers, singing ...
