I wanted to spend more time in Athens, but because of all the problems going on, plans kind of got extremely disorganized and we went to Athens on a whim. <br><br>We basically ended up in a bar and grabbed dinner at The Grit (famous for vegetarian cuisine), while briefly cruising around town. <br><br>I felt sad and sentimental that I didn't get to tour it more, but then again I felt relief; I have another university to call my own, for I am also a NYU graduate. ;) <br>

We headed up through Georgia with one night at Unadilla, then on to one of the nicest parks we have found yet. The park is called the North Shore Resort near Greensboro, GA and is located on Lake Oconee at the site of the old Carey Station Rail Depot.
