My highlight was seeing Launch Pad 39A. 39A is where it all happened, the launch of Apollo 11, the first aircraft to land humans on the moon launched from here. It was a buzz to see this site. It was still being used for Space Shuttle launches ...

... Party Zone' was unbelievably disappointing. Gru and the girls from Despicable Me looked fantastic, in really good costumes, whilst the Minions were people wearing dungarees and a yellow t-shirt! They looked awful! Why they couldn't just stick people in actual costumes, we don't know. Because of this, we marched back to the gift shop at the end of the Minion ride to get a picture taken with a proper one there instead.

... us to get round the park with optimum time efficiency. That said we decided to hit the best sounding attraction first- Soaring. This was a 3D simulation that created the illusion of flying on hang gliders on a scenic tour of California. We waited in a queue for about an hour which heightened our expectations of the ride. Once on the ride the special effects such as the wind blowing through your hair as you 'glide' over the landscapes gave it ...
