After swimming we went out to dinner at a German restaurant. It was a cool atmosphere but I was just so tired after only having 3 hours sleep. So I was thankful when I got to bed by 10:30pm. I fell in love with Panama City Beach and I'm sad to leave ...

... very easy to put together. Got the dogs brushed out a bit. Walked Gracie and Rue on the bike path and then beach at sunset as Star went out to explore- went to Apalachicola and found some supplies- snow fence- they call it sand fence here, and veggie burgers and some stuff for the dogs ears. Got a few warm rays on my face today at the pool, it felt great! We emailed about getting heat for the pool added into our stay, haven't heard back yet but that might be fun ...

... of room to pass so it was really not too bad. What was bad for novice ocean cruisers were the wind and waves. Once we left the harbor and were out on the bay we had gusts up to 35 mph accompanied by 3-4 foot waves. We quickly discovered we do not like 3-4 foot waves. They make the boat rock from side to side and cause cupboard doors to open up and belch forth their contents. It also makes for tricky walking. First Mate had to scramble (crab walking is more like it) to batten ...
