... a couple of days, and we fell back into our routine of sipping and listening to music. It was good to spend a short time with Donna Revel Andrews and Mike, classmates from Ashland High days. They are one of the nicest, most devoted couples I have ever known.

... experience with Mum and Dad as I know how much they love country music and Johnny Cash. Interesting fact - Elvis was nominated for 14 Grammys and only won 3 (for gospel songs) whereas Johnny Cash won 14 Grammys!!

We also took in more sights of Nashville and went for a wander up to Capitol Hill, the buildings up there are just gorgeous, oh how I love architecture. We also took a wander along a pedestrian bridge and took in the views of the Cumberland River. ...

... In the village where Wilma was born stands an immaculately kept monastery which Ralph showed us, where the monks make and sell cheese, among other items. Before dinner Kirsten shot her first shots with a gun! We both had a go with a .22 rifle, a .380 pistol and a .50 muzzle-loader. Then we ate salmon with the family. Ralph and I naturally reminisced throughout the trip. What a ...
