Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

They invited me to ...

... the employee parking lot & it was covered in snow. I really did feel bad that he was working his ass off & I had sat around during the journey. Well, we made it home at exactly midnight! We have a steep driveway & decided to park on the street so that we could get out in the morning to get the dogs at the kennel. We dragged our suitcases down the driveway, making indents in the snow, I admit that this was fun! Oh, home sweet home.

... Georgia Aquarium. It was very good. ( biggest in the USA of course). There was a live dolphin show which had been gussied up with a daft story and singing narrator. The dolphins were amazing but the rest made us laugh. And Dad's version of the singing had the girls in stitches.

It was hot walking back to the hotel so we went straight down to the pool.

We planned to eat at Teds ...
