Today began a new adventure for me....I left Pensacola this morning and am currently at the Atlanta airport waiting for my flight to Washington DC. From DC I'll go to London, then after a 13 hr layover I'll head to Johannesburg and finally I take a small flight to Gaborone, my final destination. At the University of Botswana, I'll be studying public health with my classes focusing on the issues in Botswana and I'll also be taking a ...

... really interesting. We skipped meeting the bear. It kind of looked scary. We then went into the 4d cinema which gave us the secret of coke. It was cheesey and the chair hurt my back but it was ok. And walked around a pop art gallery were we got to make our own bottle of open art. It was fun! We then tasted it which was too awesome! We tried over 60 different drinks from across the globe! Awesome. We also got a free bottle of coke at the end of the day to take home. Wow. Good final ...

... Luther King historic centre. This included information centres, his gravesite, reflective pool, his birthplace and his church where he was co-pastor with his father. It was very informative and well done to honour his memory. It will be 50 years this August since the Washington Freedom March, which he organised in protest on segregation, poverty and inequality for black people (and all those minorities who experienced this) ...
