... great hotels still serving that purpose. Some 2 million visitors annually make their way to St. Augustine, lured by the sense of discovering a unique historic part of America. While the venerable Castillo de San Marcos remains the traditional magnet for visitors, there are many other appealing historical sites and vistas. The City of St. Augustine maintains architectural control over the colonial city, insuring that the inevitable change which occurs in a living urban area respects the ...

Jack and I had a good run to Jacksonville from Bozeman. Made it all the way to Lawrenceburg, TN the first day. We were really beat after 10 hours of flying, but It was just too hard to give up those tailwinds. ... in all, I only had a loss of 7. Guess it could have been worse. Of course, they were all new balls. Forgot to mention, Tricia lost an entire box, 12 balls of brand spanking new Lady Callaway balls. No wonder golf is such an expensive sport.

On the way back to the hotel we stopped at McDonalds for ice cream. That was a good ending to our golf and made up for some of my lost balls.

Dinner was at Bart's and Dee Dee cooked. It was scumpdelicious. We ...

... some air. While it was raining, we ignored Mike's protests about getting his hair wet and went birding anyway. We also had a special guest today. Resee Collins - Resee is a permit biologist for the southeast region and unlike Philip, Mike, Katie, and myself. She is the nicest person ever! We decided to drive about 50 minutes west of Jville to visit the Oulstee National Battlefield. This site is supposed to have Red-cockaded Woodpecker; a bird ...
