While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. That's all for now. Sorry if you found this post boring, but sometimes you just gotta gloat. Love you ...

    Be home soon!

I was able to see old friends that I had made over the semester to say goodbye in hopes of seeing them again. Because I knew I had to wake up early to check out and catch the taxi, I headed home.

This morning was a little hectic. From the time I woke up, I did not stop moving until I got to the airport. I ...

    High Maintenance

... sandwiches....on my motivated days. On several weekends, I took trips to different places. I went to the Bronx to watch a Yankees game. Talk about culture shock.....the parking lot underneath a train track is where I remember being dropped off by the bus at Yankee Stadium. It was SO exciting for me, though....couldn't have meant more to do that sort of thing. I also took Amtrak from New London, CT to Boston on two weekends ( a high school friend met me ...
