... but we decided to walk it instead. Santa Monica Pier was certainly more attractive then Venice Beach.

From here we spent the rest of the afternoon driving around Beverly Hills Bvld, and visited the stars on the street. While the sun was going down, we walked to the Griffith Observatory, with a panoramic view of the smoggy LA.

The next morning we awoke early and hit the road to Las Vegas baby!

Stay turned for our Vegas highlights and maybe some wedding photos.

Woke to another lovely sunny day, 28deg c before breakfast! Breakfast wasn't much to shout about, coffee, bagels, muffins that was about it. Loaded the car and headed on our way, back to LA to catch our flight.

And, Marty hadn't been there in a while either. Lots of small shops selling huaraches, scarves, decorated skeleton heads, purses, candy and other assorted ware. We found purses that were $8.95 and some that were $125.00 which certainly surprised us. Nancy, who was at work, had mentioned earlier about how they used ...

... so it should be ok. It was hard to tell whether Mexican we've had in the past was westernized, and this was the real deal, or if this was just some cheap version. Whatever it was, we preferred the western version we'd had before! We strolled down the street, taking photos of the palm trees which were now lit up by fairy lights. We walked through the 'Anaheim Garden Walk' - a sort of mall with all manner of plants and fountains throughout. It was ...
