... Adriatic coast, located soth-east of the regions river mouth. We caught the MSC shuttle bus to the city and explored the shops. We did not realise majority of the shops close between lunch and 5pm. They then reopen for the night. After 3 hours of city exploring we caught the shuttle back to the ship, went to the gym, tried the snack meals at the buffet, explored the ship and then went to the restaurant for dinner at 9pm. We have ...

... on the island are cone shaped stone towers built by the Nuragic civilization somewhere between 1800bc to 500bc. We have driven past numerous Nuraghe in our travels, and a few times, followed a seemingly well marked sign to visit one, but given up when the road became too treacherous (Sardinian roads have definitely put my driving skills to the test!!!). There are also these giant trees that have really pretty bright pink flowers on them that would fall off and onto the ground. ...

... I had left Brittany. She had gone ahead and got her massage and ever so sweetly changed mine to later that afternoon. I just got changed, did the routine and waited for her in the turkish bath hot tub.

Once Brittany got back from her massage she was as rubbery and relaxed as anything. We sat around in the hot tubs for a bit before we went outside where I laid in the sun and swam and she read Harry Potter in the shade. She was a nerd ...

Our first full day in Arbatax

A travel blog entry by malloryharvie on Jun 21, 2014

... nice. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either - nothing compared to the restaurants we had started to find over the last few days in Florence and Rome. Regardless, we made it work.

After we had dinner we went to the main pool area at our resort and had some drinks, using up the last of our Keiglevich vodka from the cruise. We only got wifi in public areas on this resort, so we also spent this time trying to connect. Unfortunately, the connection ...
