After a late lunch we headed out and arrived at the airport (despite a, and I quote, "monster jam") at around 1945. Everything went smoothly, including checking all the stuff that my brother Jason had sent to my house. It was under the weight and everything! Fingers crossed nothing ...

... slow, takeoff was 30 minutes delayed, and they didn't control the boarding lines very well. The brand new 777-300ER was super nice and quite spacious. They didn't quite grasp the concept that this was an overnight flight...turn the light off and quit coming by every 30 mins and waking me up to ask if I want another hot, Chinese beer! Maclaren wasn't having anything to do ...
