Some of the boys pick Carpaccio from the menu and are not entirely sure what they are ordering. When their meals arrive looks are exchanged of confusion and they eye their plates suspiciously. Putting on brave faces at their raw specimens they finish their dishes and Im impressed with the effort. What I find more amusing is the amount of extra bread thats also ordered along side it.

... We knew that it was on two nights, and the
first was in the new town, and the second in the Old Town, but last weekend was
the first week of the Carnival, so we expected the second weekend to have the
second Parade. Have information on how to get to it, but it’s a big hassle,

The night is generally quite blurry, although we definitely had a laugh, but a highlight was me and Gemma trying to sneak up on Laura and Rachel in front of the hostel by having Gemma crawl through a patch of rhubarb and mint to spy on them. We were unsuccessful. We got to bed at about 2am, after singing Happy Birthday to Laura - tomorrow we're off to celebrate her 24th birthday and Canada's 145th in Ottawa! Deej ...
