... bridge which is supposed to be the second busiest bridge in Canada. Got off the bridge on to St Helene island but could not find anywhere to park. Drove back onto Montreal Island and parked car and walked half way over the first bridge (there are two bridges crossing the St Lawrence River. Nice views of the city lights.

We then took a Wesley driving tour of downtown Montreal which is a very busy place even at 9.00 pm on a Sunday night.

... before we treated ourselves with a Canadian Starbucks coffee. When we got back to the hostel, the others were taking a powernap. The combination of climbing a mountain and eating poutine made them sleep like babies, so it took us a while to get everyone out of bed. Once everyone was ready to go we took the metro to the Montreal Chinatown where I enjoyed a delicious duck dinner in restaurant Bejing. We spent the whole evening laughing and sharing stories and ...

It is a really nice lookout and you can see the huge city from up there but only downside is that it was freezing (-26), so we literally jumped out the car, took a few photos and got straight back in. After another 3 hour drive the next, and last stop of the day was Montreal. We first went to the Olympic Tower which was built for the 1976 Olympics and then went into town for dinner. Time for another short sleep now before our 5am wake up call to head back over the border to the US ...

... in we found we had been given a whole condo! Sweet! And need I mention, for FREE! 2 nights as well.
It had been a long day as we had lots of stops along the way so food was required. Chinatown was around the corner so it seemed wise to frequent the area. The only clean looking place with plenty of clientèle was a Vietnamese place. An Englishman, an American, in French Canada, in Chinatown eating Viet food. How very multicultural of us.
