... town of Naxos, we first visited the temple of Apollo and then found our way through the narrow alleys in the old town to a lovely Italian restaurant. Naxos island has a thriving agriculture industry, not everyone is dependent on the tourist industry, which makes it a more lively place during the off season. The next day the weather was pleasant so we continued to tour the city of Naxos and walk along several beaches south of the ...

... we decided to fill the tank and drive until half a tank was used up. This was not the best decision because we were driving a small fiat that was good on gas and after we circumnavigated the island (about 35km) only a quarter tank was used. We arrived late on Thursday in the dark. The hotel is lovely, built into the side of a mountain, rock faced, painted white with blue shutters and doors, several levels and private beach. Many stairs to reach our room and all other parts of the hotel. We had a light dinner in the restaurant at the beach and could see several super yachts in the harbor. It was very romantic, soothing surf and a much needed glass of wine! We were given ...

... which is like a club beach area. The ride there was a.may.zimg. An absolute blast being on those quads with the sun above and the breeze blowing. When we got to paradise beach we had some lunch and then got in the water. It was much colder than our beach so I only went under once. We met an Australian named Ben and talking to him for a bit while wading in the water. Then me and Caylee dried off and headed out for a ride. We had some trouble getting our bike started so ...
