... We arrived to Mobile with just enough time to prep the boat before departing for Vegas the following afternoon! After a few days of Vegas with my folks, we headed back with them to Texas for Thanksgiving. A very happy ending to this leg of our migration to the lower latitudes with Hawkswood!

What a noisy night that was. There are plenty of people living in motels around Houston, maily the refugees from the hurricanes who do not seem to want to go back. We heard on the radio that the state insurance was warning that they would not endlessly pay for people to live in motels and that they needed to find a place to move to.
