    ... They are very friendly. I admired how if someone was in trouble on the street, many people were willing to go out of their way to help a stranger. A lot like home, but perhaps even more so.
    ..Just some musings in my head. Hopefully one day I can go back there and spend more time exploring.

    Next stop, off to Atlanta (to meet up with Lynn) and then on to Louisiana.

    ... yesterday and today doing some last minute preparations for the trip. I am now completely (I think) packed.

    My carryon is filled (literally filled) with snacks, books, and crossword puzzles.

    My luggage is filled with clothes and resources for the three weeks of teaching we need to do. I finally feel like I'm ready to go.
