... with a couple of drinks on the street just watching Memphis go by. It's a crazy place but one I'm absolutely loving. The sights and sounds, people and booze...it will prove hard to beat I'm sure. We jumped the trolley car back home and fell into bed pretty exhausted. We're taking the car out tomorrow so we'll see a bit more further out from downtown...but I daresay we'll find ourselves back at Beale St tomorrow night for one last hurrah!

We joined Rob and Nia on the Thursday and headed to the Peabody Hotel for a party on the rooftop. The Peabody is a hotel for the rich and twice a day they have the duck march, where about 5 ducks would walk down the red carped and people would cheer. It was pretty pathetic in all honesty, but the action on the rooftop was fun with bands playing and good views of the city.
